Kathmandu, May 30: The Cabinet meeting held a discussion today on the official India visit of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' which is beginning tomorrow.
"General discussion was held on different issues, including preparation for PM Prachanda's India visit in the Cabinet meeting held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers at Singha Durbar on Tuesday", said a Spokesperson of the government and Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Rekha Sharma.
PM Prachanda is scheduled to leave for an India visit on Wednesday from Nepal Airline's aircraft, leading the Nepali delegation.
Similarly, the budget for the coming fiscal year presented by the government and citizenship were also discussed by the Cabinet, mentioned Minister Sharma.
She further shared, "We are confident that President Ram Chandra Paudel will pass the citizenship bill as per the provision of the constitution." (RSS)
