Kathmandu, May 11 : The Nepali Congress has called a meeting of its office-bearers to discuss the contemporary political issues. The meeting is scheduled for 2pm at the party president Sher Bahadur Deuba's residence at Dhumbarahi.
Party general secretary Bishwo
Prakash Sharma said the office-bearers' meeting will deliberate on contemporary
political topics and topics related to the party organisation. It is also said
the meeting will discuss on Bal Krishna Khand, the party's central member and
former Home Minister, who has been taken into custody by police in connection
with investigation in the fake Bhutanese refugee scandal.
Besides these topics, the
office-bearers' meeting will also discuss on the upcoming party's central
committee meeting, and the sister and well-wisher organisations, Sharma
said.
The NC office-bearers' meeting was
held on Wednesday also. (RSS)
