32 new cases in 24 hours, active cases dip to 133

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 7: 32 new cases (RT-PCR and antigen tests combined) of COVID-19 have been confirmed on Sunday while 12 people recovered from the disease.

In 304 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, eight people were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its regular update on Sunday. Whereas, 24 positive cases were found in 1,660  Antigen tests in the last 24 hours. 

Currently, there are 133 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation.

So far, 12,031 people have lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Nepal.
