By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 5: 76 new cases (RT-PCR and antigen tests combined) of COVID-19 have been confirmed on Saturday while 26 people recovered from the disease.
In 55 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, one person was found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its regular update on Saturday. Whereas, 75 positive cases were found in 1,548 Antigen tests in the last 24 hours.
Currently, there are 137 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation.
So far, 12,031 people have lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Nepal.
