Local representatives from Lalitpur call on President

Kathmandu, March 19 : A delegation comprising people's representatives and locals in Lalitpur district today called on President Ramchandra Paudel. On the occasion, the team congratulated Paudel on his inauguration as the President, wishing him a successful term.     

The team consisted of people's representatives from the Lalitpur metropolis, Mahalamxi municipality and the Godawari municipality in the district.     

Lalitpur's mayor Chiribabu Maharjan, Godawari's mayor Gajendra Maharjan and Mahalaxmi's deputy mayor Laxmi Maharjan led the respective local levels to the meeting with the Head-of-the-State.     

On the occasion, the mayors from Lalitpur and Godavari presented a mouthpiece of the respective local governments to the President. The Lalitpur mayor also handed books by culture expert the late Satya Mohan Joshi and published by the Lalitpur metropolis to President Paudel.(RSS)
