USAID administrator Power calls on PM Prachanda

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Feb 8: Administrator of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) Samantha Power paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' today.

A delegation of the USAID led by Power help the meeting with PM Prachanda at the latter's office in Singh Durbar.

Earlier today, Power held talks with Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel when the discussion focused on expanding Nepal-US relations and implementation of USAID projects that are underway in Nepal.

Similarly, Power has already called on Foreign Minister Dr. Bimala Rai Pauydal.

Samantha arrived in Nepal on Tuesday for a two-day visit. She is also scheduled to pay a courtesy call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari today.
