By TRN Online, Gorahi, Feb 8: European Commissioner for
International Partnerships Jutta Urpilainen held a meeting with Prime Minister
Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' at the latter's office in Singh Durbar today.
During the meeting, issues related to
development activities being implemented under the EU's International
Partnership in Nepal were discussed, according to PM Prachanda's secretariat.
Urpilainen arrived in Nepal today for
an official visit.
Commissioner Urpilainen’s visit comes
at an important moment as Nepal is preparing to graduate from Least Developed
Country (LDC) status in 2026, thus reaffirming the European Union’s strong and
unwavering engagement with Nepal, including through the recent launch of the
Multiannual Indicative Programme (MIP) for Nepal for 2021-2027, according to EU delegation to Nepal.
