Federal democratic republic governance needs to be strengthened: NC President Deuba

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan 9: The president and parliamentary party leader of the Nepali Congress, Sher Bahadur Deuba, has said that strengthening the federal democratic republic governance of Nepal is the need of the hour. 

Addressing today the first meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) following its election on November 20 election, President Deuba said that in order to strengthen the federal democratic republic governance of Nepal, it is important to protect the constitution and to implement it as per its spirit. 

Former Prime Minister Deuba said, "Many laws and policies need to be properly formulated for the proper implementation of the constitution, therefore, we should seek out formulating laws and policies."
