Chitwan, Jan 5 : Dinesh Kumar Chuke has been elected President of the Federation of Hotel Entrepreneurs Nepal (FHEN). Also, the fourth convention of the FHEN on Wednesday evening unanimously picked a new 75-member working committee.
Sher Bahadur
Thapa (Sheru) was chosen as FHEN senior vice president and Birmanjan Batala
vice president (administration-organisation). Similarly, other elected vice
presidents are Santosh Upreti (tourism), and Bhaichandra Shrestha, Modanath
Belbase, Tilak Bahadur Karki, Devi Gautam (open) and Dhana Devi Chokhal
(women).
Tulsiram
Bhandari was elected general secretary, and Rajesh Mahotra Chhetri deputy
general secretary. Elected secretaries are Raju Adhikari, Kamal Bahadur Bam,
Dhaneshwor Bhandari, Tara Prasad Acharya, Janak Bahadur Singh, Buddhi Prasad
Panta, Narayan Bahadur Sen Oli and Mitra Prasad Dhakal. Krishna Kumar Shrestha
was picked as treasurer, and Sudip Kumar Shrestha co-treasurer.
Newly elected
President Chuke said he as FHEN President would work to revive hotel sector that
was marred by COVID-19. The convention was attended by over 700 representatives
