Kathmandu, Jan 3: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' and CPN-UML chair KP Sharma Oli held a meeting at the Prime Minister's residence Baluwatar this evening.
During the meeting, matters related to contemporary politics were discussed, shared the PM's secretariat. The two leaders discussed about the effectiveness of the government and minimum common programme, among others.
It may be noted that a meeting of the ruling parties held last Thursday had formed a taskforce under the leadership of Oli for charting out minimum common programme of the government.
PM Prachanda is taking vote of confidence from the House of Representatives (HoR) on January 10. He was appointed to the post of the premier on December 25 with support from 169 parliamentary members of different political parties.
The Prime Minister appointed as per the Article 76 (2) of the Constitution should take vote of confidence from the HoR in line with the Article 76 (4).(RSS)
