By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan 2: Chairperson of the CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal said that his party will not join the ruling coalition.
Nepal has said this in response to the proposed request by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' to join the party into the ruling coalition.
While giving his views in a politburo meeting of the party on Monday in Kathmandu, Chairperson Nepal made it clear that CPN (US) will move ahead keeping the interests of the people and the country at the centre.
He mentioned that the party has done right in the current situation and is not in favour of bowing to other powers. He said that rather than put politics on allegations, they will proceed after an objective review of the latest political situation in the country.
He said, "The country's politics is complex. Our party will not join the ruling coalition and will not bow to any other power. We want to build the country and will move forward keeping the benefit of the country and people in the centre, and we will move forward with this sentiment and ideology."
