‘New luxury hotel in Myagdi will make tourists’ stay pleasant’

By Thakur Prasad Acharya,Myagdi, Dec. 16: A hotel targeting tourists visiting Annapurna trail and Jomsom has come into operation in Kaligandaki corridor. 

Hotel Natural Spring, located in Annapurna Rural Municipality-2, Maygdi district, has been brought into operation by young entrepreneur Raju Hamal with an investment of around Rs. 35 million. 

Hamal said that the tourists visiting Mustang, Ghodepani, Poon Hill and other tourist destinations would benefit from the hotel. Spread over eight ropanis of land, the hotel has 57 rooms categorised as royal, deluxe and regular room. It currently employs 60 persons and can accommodate 200 people at a time, he added. 

Besides, it has massage parlour, local mart, including a convention hall with a capacity of 150 people. It has been informed that one can see Kaligandaki River and Annapurna Himalayan Range from every room of the hotel.

Tatopani Community Development Community secretary and tourism businessman Amrit Man Sherchan informed that the hotel businessmen had been excited after the construction of the largest hotel in terms of investment, infrastructure and capacity in Dhaulagiri area. Now with the opening of the new hotel, more than 1,000 people would easily get accommodation in Bhurung Tatopani Bazaar.

Sherchan said that since the hotel is located on the Beni-Jomsom-Korla road, the only road from Pokhara to Mustang via Kusma and Beni, the number of tourists coming to Tatopani would increase in the future. It will assist in making tourists’ stay easy and pleasant, he said.
