NC's Gurung leads by more than 2000 votes in Syangja-2

By Radha Krishna Dumre, Waling, Syangja, Dec. 1: Nepali Congress candidate Dhana Raj Gurung has maintained a lead of more than 2,000 votes margin against UML's Padma Aryal in Syangja-2.

Gurung received 7,478 votes whereas Aryal received 5,469 votes. Gurung is leading with a margin of 2,009 votes. 

Similarly, independent candidate Tik Raj Gurung received 2,153 votes. A total of 70,191 votes were cast in Syangja- 2. 

After the instruction of the Election Commission, vote counting was started in Syangja- 2, on Wednesday evening.
