Sudurpaschim dismisses Madhes from U19 National Cricket Tournament through seven wicket-win

Kathmandu, Nov 30: Sudurpaschim Province has defeated Madhes Province by seven wickets in a match today under the ongoing U-19 National Cricket Tournament at the Kirtipur-based Tribhuvan University Cricket Stadium.     

With this, Madhes Province has been dismissed from the tournament, and Sudurpaschim Province has got 10 points.     

In a win, Sudurpaschim Province achieved the target of 123 runs by Madhes Province in 18.5 overs at the loss of three wickets.     

For the winning team, Dipak Bohara hit the highest 53 runs while Gajendra Bohara 23. For Madhes Province, Avishek Tiwari took two wickets and Siman Roy one. Elected into bat after winning the toss, Madhes Province made 122 runs in 38.1 overs losing all wickets.     

For the losing team, Ali Ansari made 32 runs, Imran Shek 28, Mayan Yadav 23, and Dablu Malik 11. For Sudurpaschim Province, Naren Saud singlehandedly took five wickets. Similarly, Hemanta Dhami claimed three, and Yubaraj Khatri two. The tournament has been participated by Province 1, Madhes Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province, Karnali Province and Sudurpaschim Province. (RSS)
