PR vote counts

UML, NC, Rashtriya Swatantra in top three

Kathmandu, Nov 26: Counting of votes cast under the Proportional Representation (PR) system during the election to the member of the House of Representatives and Province Assembly is underway. The voting was held on November 20.     

According to the count's update made available by the Election Commission till 10:30 am, the CPN (UML) is leading the PR counts tally under the House of Representatives and it has received 1,809,417 votes so far.     

 The Nepali Congress is in the second position with 1,744,069 votes followed by Rashtriya Swatantra Party with 787,747. Similarly, the CPN (Maoist Centre) has secured 767,306 votes while Rashtriya Prajatantra Party has obtained 403,079 so far.     

Likewise, Janata Samahbadi Party Nepal has got 216,943 votes, 164,856 by CPN (Unified Socialist), 156,582 by Nagarik Unmukti Party, and 148,404 by Janamat Part, according to the EC. (RSS)
