Re-poll in Bajura's Budhinanda today

By Our Correspondent, Bajura, Nov. 26: The re-election in Ward No. 5 of Budhinanda Municipality will be held on November 26.

Voting was suspended in the polling centre at Nandeshwori 

Secondary School after a clash occurred between Nepali Congress and CPN-UML cadres over ‘casting of fake votes’.

Bajura district’s election office informed that eight officials have already reached the school for re-election.

“The officials have reached the ward with all the necessary election materials,” said Nabaraj Awasthi, chief of the office.

There was a total of 70 polling centres across Bajura. Voting was stopped only in Nandeshwori School’s polling centre.

There are a total of 999 voters in Budhinanda’s Nandeshwori polling station A.

“Once the re-election concludes, the ballot boxes will be brought to Martadi and further process will begin,” said Awasthi.
