CPN (US) Chair Nepal leads in Rautahat-1 by 885 votes

By Sanjay Kumar Mishra, Gaur, Nov. 22: Madhav Kumar Nepal from CPN (Unified Socialist) has maintained a lead in the election of the House of Representatives (HoR) from Rautahat-1.
Nepal has received 9,749 votes against contestant UML's Ajay Kumar Gupta, who has received 8,864 votes.
According to Chhote Lal Das, Chief of District Election Office, Rauthat, Madhav Kumar Nepal is leading by 885 against his opponent.
He said that Nepal has been maintaining the lead since the vote counting began.
