Pandak, Taplejung, Nov. 16: CPN (Maoist Center) chairman and former Prime
Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said the victory of the coalition is necessary for stability and development in the country.
Addressing
an election rally at Fungling, district headquarters of Taplejung, the former
Prime Minister viewed that the country’s development and prosperity will be
ensured only if the ruling coalition gets victory in the election.
In
addition to Chairman Prachanda Nepali Congress spokesperson Dr. Prakash Sharan
Mahat also addressed the assembly organized by Left-Democratic coalition.
The Maoist Center Chair appealed to the people to vote for the candidates of the ruling coalition also for the development of Taplejung district.
The
former Prime Minister said that the coalition government to be formed after the
November 20 election will top priority to the construction of Tamor Corridor
linking Rani of Biratnagar with Tibet of China as that will open the door for
development of Taplejung.
“We will
focus on Tamor corridor and other necessary infrastructure for tourism
promotion of the district as well,” he said.
Leader
Prachanda argued that the coalition has been formed to lead the country to
development and prosperity while safeguarding nationality, constitution, and
achievements made so far.
The
ruling coalition has fielded Khel Prasad Budachetri as the common candidate for
the election to the member of the House of Representatives slated for November
20.
“If
Budachhetri wins, it will be my responsibility to make a cabinet minister so as
to usher in development works here,” he said.
He urged
the people to for the coalition candidates so that the naming of province 1
can be accomplished as the Kirant Pradesh.
On the
occasion, he lambasted that CPN (UML) Chair KP Sharma Oli has no ethical right
to reach out to the people asking for a vote as he had dissolved the parliament
two times before its expiry. “Why should people vote for him, to dissolve the parliament
in the middle of it?” he questioned.
Similarly,
NC spokesperson Dr. Mahat appealed to the people to vote for the coalition candidates
as the ruling coalition was formed as per the need of the country.
