Urlabari, Nov. 12: Man Bahadur Limbu of the Nepali Congress has fielded his candidacy for the Province 1 Assembly election from Morang 3(A) as the common candidate of the ruling alliance. Nepali Congress has picked Limbu, who is a member of Nepali Congress Mahasamiti, as its new candidate in the constituency after its candidate Shekhar Chandra Thapa died on Wednesday.
The Election Commission had arranged the process for new nomination for Thursday after Thapa’s demise.
Following the EC’s arrangement, Limbu’s candidacy was registered in the Election Office of Morang-3 in Belbari on Thursday. His nomination was proposed by NC’s Suyarmaraj Rai and seconded by Lal Bahadur Susling of the CPN (Maoist Centre) "The candidate will be provided the election symbol after completing the process by Friday," said election officer Ram Hari Sharma.
