20 new cases; active caseload stands at 552

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct. 30: A total of 20 new cases (RT-PCR and antigen tests combined) of COVID-19 were confirmed on Sunday while 34 people recovered from COVID-19.

In 229 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, a total of nine people were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its regular update on Sunday.

Likewise, the virus infection was detected in 11 people in 855 antigen tests performed in the last 24 hours.

Currently, there are 552 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation.

So far, Nepal's COVID-19 death toll has reached 12,019.
