Kathmandu, Oct. 24: Nepali Congress has rescheduled to unveil its election manifesto Monday morning.Earlier, the programme was scheduled for Sunday.
But it was rescheduled as Prime Minister and NC president Sher Bahadur Deuba remained busy attending election programmes organised outside the Kathmandu Valley on Sunday.
NC chief secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel in a statement on Sunday said the programme to make the manifesto public was rescheduled for 10.30 am on Monday. Earlier, it was scheduled for 5.00 pm on Sunday.
The manifesto preparation committee of the NC formed under the leadership of NC general secretary Bishwo Prakash Sharma has prepared the manifesto for the November 20 elections to the House of Representative and Provincial Assemblies.
The party had earlier informed that Deuba would unveil the manifesto through the digital platform in the presence of office-bearers of the party.
It was informed that the manifesto preparation committee has prepared the manifesto by incorporating the issues related to the implementation of the constitution, strengthening of democracy, effective implementation of federalism, ending unstable politics and forwarding the country towards stability.
