'Nepalis living along border are real nationalists'

Lumbini, Oct. 21: Minister for Home Affairs Bal Krishna Khand said that Nepalis living along the border are real nationalists since they protect the country’s territory.

Minister Khand made the remarks while addressing an election-centric programme organised by the parties of ruling alliance at Ward No. 2 of Siyari Rural Municipality in Rupandehi district on Thursday.

“Nepalis living along the border have not allowed even a single inch of land to be encroached. They have been the real guardians of our border. Their love for the nation can be depicted through this,” said Minister Khand.

Calling Nepalis along the border the real nationalists, Minister Khand stressed that the government would always prioritise proper services to them. 

Khand, a central member of Nepali Congress and Rupandehi-3’s candidate for the House of Representatives from the ruling coalition, said, “The government is aware of how Nepalis have been safeguarding our territory along the border.
