Lumbini Province to prepare its own police force soon

Lumbini, Oct 17: Chief Minister of Lumbini Province Kul Prasad KC has said that police force of Lumibini Province will be ready soon as the Province Police Act has already been passed from the province assembly.

He said that now organizational development will be advanced as per the legal provision.   

Addressing an event today organized at Province Police Training Centre in Butwal on 67th Nepal Police Day, the Chief Minister also asked the police personnel to work dutifully to maintain law and order, curb crime and carry out thorough investigations.

Likewise, Minister for Internal Affairs, Law and Communications Tilak Ram Sharma urged the police to stand as the support of citizens adding that the province government was committed to implement the newly-unveiled Police Act.

On the occasion, chief of Lumbini Province Police Nala Prasad Adhikari directed the police personnel to work selflessly as ordered by the organization. (RSS)
