8 new cases, 61 recoveries in last 24 hours

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct.8: A total of eight persons have been found infected with the novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours across the country.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), six persons tested positive for the virus in the RT-PCR test of 468 persons while two tested positive in the antigen test of 861.

Meanwhile, 61 persons got over the virus infection in the same period.

There are 573 active cases of COVID-19 in the country to date, according to MoHP.
