NC, LSP holding discussion for seat allocation

Kathmandu, Oct 8: Leaders of the Nepali Congress and the Loktantrik Samajbadi Party (LSP) have been holding a discussion on seat sharing for the November 20 elections.     

LSP leader Keshav Jha informed that the leaders of both parties were engrossed in seat-sharing issues at Prime Minister's residence, Baluwatar, and the discussion was positive. "They are in continuous discussion for the last seven hours. They are determined to finalize the seat sharing today itself," he added.     

After one of the partners in the ruling alliance, Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP), walked out of the electoral alliance bid, the LSP joined the electoral alliance.     

The meeting is being attended by NC President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and leaders, LSP Chairperson Mahanth Thakur, senior leader Rajendra Mahato, and leaders Anil Jha, Jitendra Sonal, among others. (RSS)
