One dies falling into water-filled pothole, another goes missing in swollen stream in Dang

By TRN Online, Ghorahi, Oct. 6: A person has been killed while another gone missing due the floods triggered by incessant rain in Dang.

Bir Bahadur Oli, Police Superintendent of and chief of the Dang district police office, informed that Kallu Chaudhari, 55, of Ghorahi Sub-metropolitan City-10 had gone missing after being swept away by the flooded Gurjekhola stream.

Chaudhari was going to Sarra from south Amrai on Wednesday afternoon, and he was swept away while trying to cross the stream. He was not found out yet despite search and rescue operation of the police.

Similarly, a person got drowned to death after he fell into a porthole near his house at Beluwa, Ghorahi Sub-metropolitan City-3.

According to SP Oli, body of Dhiraj Ghimire, 45, who died in the porthole was taken to Rapti Academy of Health Sciences for postmortem.
