Women Earns Rs 30 million from Goat Farming

Tanahun, Oct 5: Women of Bhimad Municiplity and Ghiring Rural Municipality have earned Rs 30 million from sales of goat. Women from Microfinance have earned around Rs 25 million and other farmers sold of Rs 5 million. Dhana Thapa of Ghiring Sundhara Samajik Udhemy Mahila Sahakari earned Rs 106 thousand fjrom sales of goat during the Dashain festival. 

 She informed that around Rs 2 lakhs can be saved by selling goat. Kamala Oli of  BhagawotiPur Samajik Udhamy Mahila Sahakari Sanstha told that she sold goat of around Rs 2 lakhs in Dashain.

They informed that Microfinance run by women sold goat of around Rs 25.3 million.

Chairperson of Ghiring Sundhara Samajik Udhemy Mahila Sahakari, located in Ghiring Municipality-2 of Bhorkot, Sarada Aale, said that marketing from farm has ease the famers to sell.

Chairperson of Arunadaya Samajik Udhemy Mahela Sahakari, Bhimad Municipality-2, Sitakumari Timalsina said that marketing has become accessible from the past.
