PSC submits annual report to President Bhandari

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Sept. 29: Chairman of the Public Service Commission (PSC), Madhav Prasad Regmi, submitted the annual report of the PSC to President Bidya Devi Bhandari today.

In the report submitted amid a special ceremony at the Office of the President, details about the bases of work performance of the PSC, administrative and financial status, vacancy announcement and application, testing technology, academic qualification and syllabus have been included.

Devi Prasad Subedi, assistant spokesperson of the PSC, said that implementation status of the suggestions mentioned in the previous reports and suggestions on issues to improve public service have also been included in the report.

Altogether 365,434 applications were received through the online application system of the PSC under both internal and open vacancy announcements for different posts.

Through 1,397 vacancy announcement and promotion notices combined, vacancy announcement was made for a total of 3,727 posts in the fiscal year 2021/022, according to the PSC report.
