CM Shahi assures support to government offices

Humla, Sept 1 : Karnali Province Chief Minister Jeevan Bahadur Shahi has assured all required support to the government offices across the province to operate at their best.

Speaking at a discussion with the chiefs of government offices, CM Shahi said, “There will be no problems for government offices to operate effectively. We will continue upgrading the resources to make services accessible to the public with ease. 

The programme was organised in coordination with Humla District Coordination Committee on Tuesday. 

Karnali Province government had earlier received several complaints regarding delays in implementing directives and allocating budget alongside deploying acting chiefs. 

“Now, transfers are decided on the first day of the fiscal year. Within the second week of the new fiscal year, programme implementation directives are sent to all districts for their effective operation throughout the year,” said CM Shahi.

CM Shahi also informed that authority and budget allotment for the operation of the CM Employment Programme were provided within the first month of the current fiscal year and directed local levels to begin the works under the programme.

“Government officials used to be reluctant in reaching the rural areas. Now, there is no such problem because of the services provided to the offices and officials,” said CM Shahi. Meanwhile, CM Shahi also urged the officials to not select or implement programmes, plans and policies without proper homework and to not be influenced by others.

CM Shahi was also apprised of the problems faced by the district. CM Shahi has assured us to discuss the issues further and find solutions at the earliest.
