Sarlahi children begin receiving Pfizer vaccine

Sarlahi, Aug 24 : Administering Pfizer vaccine to children aged between five and 12 years has begun in all 20 local levels of the Sarlahi district.   

The Malangawa-based Health Office informed that the district received 40,000 doses of the vaccine for the campaign against COVID-19 in the district.

“Health personnel has been sent to schools to vaccinate the children,” said Dr. Nawal Kishore Jha, chief at the health office.

Health personnel is visiting the schools where more than 200 children eligible to receive the doses are studying. 

Schools with few numbers of students are asked to send the students to a different one for vaccination.
