Govt. forms High Level Salary and Benefits Commission

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Aug. 23: The government has formed a High-Level Salary and Benefits Commission to recommend after reviewing and studying the salary scale and benefits of the civil servants in view of the economic condition of the country and the capacity to bear the burden. 

Government spokesperson and Minister for Communication and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki said that the government has decided to form a High-Level Salary and Benefits Commission under the chairmanship of former Chief Secretary Leela Mani Paudyal.

At a press conference that was organised to make public the decisions of the cabinet meeting on August 22, he informed about the formation of the Commission.
