Gandaki, July 5 : Chief Minister of Gandaki Province,
Krishna Chandra Nepali Pokharel, has said he was ready to work together with the private sector to ensure a prosperous Gandaki. The time has come to create an investment-friendly atmosphere, he added.
Addressing the 26th establishment
day of the Leknath Industry and Commerce Association here Monday, CM Pokhrel
viewed the creation of jobs with the promotion of industry is imperative.
The government could create an investment-friendly atmosphere rather than running industries, he said, adding that
public-private cooperation would also foster an atmosphere for investment.
Minister for Energy and Hydro
Resources at the province, Hari Sharan Acharya, viewed the country's development
could not be imaged without production. The state has augmented investment for
running the industries based on raw materials produced within the country, he
informed.
Association Chairperson Chhatradhar
Atreya said the industries based on agriculture should be prioritized.
Similarly, industrialist Anjan
Shrestha suggested the government that it reduced imports and prioritize
domestic production.
Vice-Chancellor of Pokhara
University, Prof Dr. Prem Narayan Aryal, said the state could formulate such a
policy that would create able and skilled human resources required for the
