Yash Kumar, Kamala Risal win best modern song singer awards

By A Staff Reporter Kathmandu, June 20: The third edition of Nepal Music and Fashion Awards 2022 held recently by presenting awards in 41 different genres of music and eight genres of fashion. Singer Yash Kumar won the best modern song singer award for Timro Man Badliyechha while Kamala Risal won the best female singer for the song Aamako Khakhai Pyaaro amid a programme held in the capital recently. 

Singer Anju Pant won the popular singer of the year award while Asmita Adhikari bagged the most popular song of the year award for her song Tada Bhaye Pani.  Actor Nischal Basnet from Tato Goli 2 won the award for the most popular male model of the year while Mallika Mahat won the most popular female model award of the year.

 Actors Sabin Shrestha and Anu Shah won the award for the best duet model of the year for the song Khusi Satau. Similarly, Ashwini Kant won the best pageant choreographer award, Tek Raj Pandey won the best makeup artist (male), Jamuna Pun won the best makeup artist (female), Randhir Shah won the best fashion model (Male). 

Singer Sitaram Pokhrel, lyricist Dabbu Kshetri, composers Deepak Sharma, singer Krishna Bhattarai, singer Shankar Thapa and sound editor Manoj Pariyar were on the jury of the programme. Former Vice President Parmananda Jha presented awards to the winners.
