Pokhara Airport halts flights after fuel tanker overturns at airport
Kaski, May 31 (RSS): All flights in Pokhara Airport have
been halted after a refueling tanker overturned at the airport this morning. A spokesperson at the airport Devraj Subedi informed that all flights were affected
at Pokhara Airport after a tanker overturned, spilling the fuel.
The refuel tanker was carrying fuel
for planes from the Oli Corporation depot. Efforts are on to remove the tanker with
the help of a crane.
Subedi further informed flights may
resume in the half-hour after removing the tanker and cleaning the surface.
