Tara airlines plane goes missing in Mustang with 19 on board

Kathmandu, May 29: A plane of Tara Air (9N AET) flying from Pokhara to Jomsom Airport in Mustang has been missing.

It has been anticipated that the plane has crashed at Lete.

The plane carrying 19 people, including six foreigners and 13 Nepalis, crashed at Lete of Mustang.

Our Gandaki province coordinator Ramesh Poudel informed that the plane which took off at 9:55 am from Pokhara on Sunday had become contactless. He said that the information about the plane crash at Lete has been received. 

According to the Pokhara Airport, communication was maintained till the plane reached Ghorepani.

Tara Air spokesperson Surdashan Bartaula informed that the search for the missing plane has been started. It had been raining all over the country since Sunday morning due to cloudy weather.
