Policies and programmes emphasized self-reliant economy - Prachanda

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 28: Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Centre) Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has said that the policies and programmes have emphasized the self-reliant oriented economy.
This was stated by Chairman Prachanda while expressing his views on the government's policies and programmes in the House of Representatives (HoR).
Discussions on the government's policies and programmes are continuing on Saturday.
"Policies and programmes have focused on how to replace imports and promote intentions." He said, "In order to promote a self-reliant economy, it is a matter of policy and programmes to give high priority to agriculture and increase production and productivity."
Chairman Prachanda said that the policy and programmes aim to solve the problem of unemployment through agro-based industries as well as to strengthen the economy through energy and tourism.
