Some Govt. hospitals to continue OPD services even on Sundays

By Srijana Khatri, Kathmandu, May 15: Some government hospitals have decided to continue providing outpatient department (OPD) services even on Sundays.

Ayurved Hospital Naradevi, Bharatpur Hospital, Kanti Children's Hospital, TU Teaching Hospital, Paropakar Maternity, and Gynecology Hospital (Thapathali), Seti provincial hospital, and Karnali provincial hospital in Surkhet are some of the hospitals which have decided to continue OPD services on Sundays by not implementing the two-day (Saturday and Sunday) public holiday provision as announced by the government.

The hospitals will give Saturday as a public holiday, but continue services on Sundays as usual until a further decision in this regard.

These hospitals have issued notice to this effect.
