Pressure cooker bomb goes off in Butwal

By Kapil Gyawali, Siddharthnagar, May 11: A pressure cooker bomb has gone off at Milanchowk of Butwal this evening.

No physical damage and human casualty has occurred due to the explosion of the improvised explosive device.

The explosion took place near the overhead bridge of Milanchowk, and just two days before the local level election. The local poll is slated for May 13.

The Area Police Office of Butwal has informed that pamphlets bearing the name of the Communist Party of Nepal were found near the explosion area.

Suraj Pande,  Deputy Inspector of Police (DSP) of the Armed Police Force (APF) said that the investigation into the incident has been initiated.
