Two arrested with Rs 1.6 million

Kathmandu, April 30 (RSS): Police arrested two persons with Rs 1.6 million, the source of which has not been disclosed, from Machhapokhari in Kathmandu this morning.    


They are Dipendra Sunar,31, of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-11 in Chitwan and 33-year-old Sagar Yadav, from Maharastra, India.


Such a huge amount of currency with no source disclosed was seized in course of a security check on the road. Police suspected the duo, who were walking on the road with a bag and confiscated the currency.    


Police Circle in Balaju has forwarded the investigation into the case keeping them in custody.
