Renu Dahal resigns as mayor of Bharatpur
Kathmandu, April 22: Mayor of Bharatpur Municipal Corporation of Chitwan Renu Dahal has resigned from the post.
Dahal resigned on Friday to run for the top post in the local elections.
Deputy Mayor of Bharatpur Municipal Corporation Parvati Shah Thakuri informed that Dahal's resignation has been approved.
Dahal resigned to file her candidacy in the local elections on May 13.
