Bhojpur, Feb 25: A health unit has been set up at Lungthung, a remote place of Bhojpur district. The geographically difficult place, Lungthung of Hatuwagadhi-4 in the district, got the health unit after a long struggle. As many as 300 households will be benefitted with the health facility. Ward No 4 Chairman of Hatuwagadhi, Chandra Bahadur Bista, informed that the newly established health facility began providing services as well. It was set up with the initiative of ward. "Lungthung is a distant and difficult place, so the people here were compelled to walk for long distance to receive basic health services," he said, adding that the establishment of the health unit brought cheers to the locals. A local Tirtha Kumari Rai said they were forced to walk for hours and some even lost lives for not having primary health post. "It is easy for us to get the service now," she shared happily. Another Man Bahadur Rai also said their days of hassles and difficulty ended with the establishment of health unit.(RSS)
