The detained are identified as Arun Kumar Yadav, aged 20, of Rajbiraj Municipality-12 of Saptari district, and Abhishek Yadav, aged 28, of the same place.According to Saptari Police Superintendent of Police (SP) Dhakendra Khatiwada, Arun and Abhishek found the citizenship of a victim in June, 2023, took out the victim's photo, pasted their photo, opened an account at Citizens Bank in Biratnagar, and defrauded other people of millions of rupees.SP Khatiwada said that they were arrested and remanded in custody by the District Court, Saptari, following a complaint filed against them at the office for citizenship-related offenses and fraud. Investigation into the matter is underway.
