Ridi-Tamghas road section to be closed for a month

Road reaches distant wards of Jumla
Jumla, April 3: Two distant wards of Tatopani rural municipality in the district have been connected to road network. The road reached ward no 7 and 8 of the rural municipality, connecting the district headquarters, according to chair of the rural municipality, Nanda Prasad Chaulagain. With the access to road network, the people from respective wards have been relieved of hassles- a long walk to district headquarters or travel from other local level. They were forced to visit the district service centres via Tila rural municipality earlier. "We've given a top priority to road construction. The plan to connect remote locals to district headquarters has been successful," he said, however, sharing the plight of budget shortage to blacktop the road. (RSS)
