Kathmandu, April 22: Legendary Brazilian football player, Roberto Carlos, has arrived in Nepal today to watch a match being held under the Nepal Super League (NSL) Football Championship underway in Kathmandu. NSL organisers welcomed Carlos at Tribhuvan International Airport. Carlos arrived in Nepal at the invitation of the NSL organizer. Saying he is very happy while arriving in Nepal, the Brazilian football star thanked all the Brazilian football fans in Nepal. Carlos is scheduled to watch the second qualifier match to be held between Pokhara and Dhangadhi taking place at local Dasharath Stadium on Wednesday. (RSS)

Jasprit Bumrah, India's all-formats fast bowler, has been hailed as the Leading Men's Cricketer in the World in the 2025 edition of Wisden Cricketers' Almanack, which is published on Tuesday. Bumrah, who capped his performances in 2024 by becoming the first Test bowler in history to claim 200 wickets at an average of less than 20 each, is described by Wisden's editor Lawrence Booth as "quite simply the star of the year". 13 killed as van plunges into ravine in Pakistan
At least 13 passengers, including four children, were killed and 20 others injured when a van fell into a ravine in the mountainous Jamshoro-Kohistan region on Monday night, officials said.
