Air India flight crash update: All 242 people on board killed
All 242 passengers are believed to have been killed after an Air India flight crashed near the Ahmedabad airport on Thursday. The incident took place when the Air India flight, carrying 232 passengers and 10 crew members, was taking off for London at 1.17 PM. The plane was carrying 169 Indians, 53 British nationals, 7 Portuguese, and one Canadian passenger. Heavy smoke was visible from Dharpur near the Meghaninagar area in Ahmedabad. The fire brigade has rushed to the spot, and emergency response teams are being mobilised. Authorities are yet to confirm the cause of the crash.
FNCCI, CAMFEBA sign MoU for bilateral cooperation

Monsoon wind active, rainfall occurring
The Meteorological Forecasting Division under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has said rainfall has started occurring in various parts of the country with the monsoon winds becoming active. The Division stated that there is an influence of Westerly winds and local winds in the western and central regions of the country. Meteorologist Govinda Jha at the Division said that the monsoon winds are active now, and a weather system causing rainfall has developed due to the moisture-laden winds coming from the Bay of Bengal, resulting in moderate to heavy rainfall in various places across the country.
PM Oli calls for significant changes for skills based education

During his address to the 99th Senate of Kathmandu University held in the Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar, the Prime Minister, who also serves as the University Chancellor, called for exploring jobs and self-employment within the education system. He also applauded the University's efforts towards that end.
London-bound Indian flight crash update: 133 Dead
The London-bound Air India flight involved in an accident minutes after takeoff from Ahmedabad on Thursday crashed on the UG hostel mess of BJ Medical College in Meghani Nagar. At least 133 people were killed as the plane crashed in the residential area, civil hospital sources said, wrote news18. According to the FAIMA Doctors Association, at least 30 people were reported injured as students were having lunch at the hostel mess when the plane crashed into the building. Air India said the Boeing 787-8 aircraft was carrying 242 passengers and crew members on board, including 169 Indians, 53 British nationals, seven Portuguese nationals, and one Canadian national.
