Former Prime Minister Dr Babu Ram Bhattarai, who had filed his nomination for the March 5 election to the House of Representatives member from Gorkha constituency-2, has withdrawn his candidacy today.

Bhattarai, a candidate from Pragatisheel Loktantrik Party, withdrew his candidacy through his representative Narayan Khatri at the Election Office in Gorkha municipality-8, shared election officer, Mohan Prasad Belbase.
