Normal life in the hilly regions of Sudurpashchim Province, including Baitadi, has been affected after a snowfall brought transport services to a grinding halt since last night. The Dashrath Chand Highway and the Jaya Prithvi Highway have remained obstructed due to snowfall at Narkholi, Khodape, Shreebhawar, Satbanjh and Dehimandau.
According to the District Police Office, the Lukum-Patihalna section along the highway has been halted after the snowfall.
