Landslides have damaged homes and displaced people.Ward Chairman of PMC - 25 Moti Raj Timilsina said that about 600 houses in the area have been affected due to heavy rains.According to him, two houses have been completely damaged and 15 houses have been partially damaged by the landslide. All the inundated houses are new settlements. According to the locals, the entire settlement from Myagdi Chowk to Sundarpuri Tol is at risk.Two houses in Myagdi Chowk have been completely damaged due to the flood in the river along with the landslide in some places. According to ward member Subash Bhandari, the wall of Laxmi BK's house has collapsed. Similarly, another concrete house, which was recently constructed and was moving goods, has also collapsed. The dam of the Chaurasi canal in that area has burst.The houses in the Phant have been inundated due to the flood in the Suinkhet river which was not being released. Houses and agricultural farms have been inundated by the floods. The whole houses are full of mud. The goats have died in the floods. Details of the damage are being collected, police said.
