The party has assigned its office chief secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel to register the NC at the election commission in accordance with Article 271 of the Nepal Constitution and Section 48 of the Political Party Act, 2073 BS.

Rupandehi, Aug 13: Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has said the government has prioritised agriculture by allocating around Rs 16 billion in grants to purchase chemical fertilizers. "The process to purchase chemical fertilizers has moved ahead. They cost the same price in the international market. As a result, it will be costlier for farmers. So, efforts are on so farmers should not face difficulties in getting fertilizers," said the minister while inaugurating the Suddhodhan Park at Suddhodhan Rural Municipality-5 in the district amid a function here today. Chemical fertilizers are in short supply at present. The government has been holding talks with various foreign countries about the supply. So, the problem would be resolved soon, said the minister. The Home Minister opined "We are forced to purchase chemical fertilizers at the price as demanded by India. Last time, we could not purchase them as the Government of India fixed the high price. It takes time to establish a fertilizer industry at home. It is not easier either. It requires a large amount of energy." In another context, the minister clarified that the government brought the citizenship bill to ensure the right of Nepali citizens to citizenship. There should not be any delay in passing the bill, he added. He also stressed the need for the development of the district including Suddhodhan while conserving religions and social and cultural heritages of various casts and communities. On this occasion, the Minister for Tourism, Rural and Urban Development of Lumbini Province, Dilli Bahadur Chaudhary pledged to develop Suddhodhan as a tourist destination. The Province Assembly members Tulsi Chaudhary and Pushpa Tharuni acknowledged that the park has added identity and beauty to the rural municipality. The rural municipality chair Bishnu Prasad Basyal and vice chair Shanti Devi Gyawali have demanded assistance and support from the federal and provincial governments for the development and beautification of the park. The Syarpu Lake which covered 2.6 square kilometres in wards 3 and 4 of the Banphikot Rural Municipality become further alluring in the rainy season as it is filled with blue waters. Tulasha Malla, Secretary of the Syarpu Lake Homestay Operation Association said that domestic tourists have been visiting Syarpu Lake for enjoying boat rides, blue waters, and relish delicious fish cuisine.She said," There is an influx of people visiting the lake during festivals and hospitals. The six boats in the lake are packed with people during festivals, while, 25-30 internal tourists visit Syarpu Lake on normal days." Gopal KC, a local said that Syarpu Lake is oozing youth, and is attracting many youngsters. He said that a lake that looks like an adorned bride attracts the tourist with its smell. It is said that there is an increase in the number of people riding boats, swimming, and clicking pictures and videos.
The government has urged the victims of loan sharking to file complaints along with substantial evidence. The complaint filing should be done within August 21, according to a notice issued by the task force formed to recommend the controlling of loan sharking.

Kathmandu, Aug 13: Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has directed the bodies concerned to rescue those critically injured in a jeep accident of Nepal Police at Taksera of Putha Uttarganga rural municipality in Rukum (East) by using a helicopter. Six security personnel including Deputy Superintendent of Police of Nepal Police, Rukum (East), Prakash Dangi, were injured when the jeep (Lu 1 Jha 660) heading towards Taksera of Putha Uttarganga rural municipality from Rukumkot fell some 800 meters off the road, said Chief District Officer of Rukum (Rast), Tularam Sunuwar. Home Minister Khand asked the bodies concerned to send a helicopter to take the critically injured security personnel to the hospital. It is said that the chopper of the Nepali Army in Sukhet has flown towards the incident site after the Peace and Security Division of the Home Ministry informed about it. Home Minister Khand directed the Home Administration and Rukum (East) Administration to make possible arrangements for the treatment of the injured. DSP Dangi sustained a deep injury on the head in the accident and Police Constable Laxman Budha is also critically injured in the accident, added CDO Sunuwar. It is said six security personnel including DSP of the Armed Police Force of Rukum (East), Rabin Shrestha, were traveling in the jeep. (RSS)

Rukum (East), Aug 13: Five police personnel including two Deputy Superintendent of Police were injured when a vehicle of the Nepal Police met with an accident in Rukum (East) today.The injured are Deputy Superintendent of Police of the Nepal Police, Prakash Dangi, and Deputy Superintendent of Police of Armed Police Force, Rabindra Shrestha, and other security personnel. The accident took place when the vehicle fell some 100 meters off the road at Putha Uttarganga rural municipality-11 when it was heading towards Taksera of Putha Uttarganga rural municipality from Rukumkot, said the Spokesperson of the rural municipality and chairperson of ward no 5, Tikasai Gharti. A team of police has headed towards the incident site, shared Information Officer at the District Police Office, Police Inspector Krishna Khatri. (RSS)
