In 2,082 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, a total of 224 people were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its regular update on Thursday. Likewise, the virus infection was detected in 318 people in 2,848 antigen tests performed in the last 24 hours.

'Only one of ten infected shows symptoms of dengue'
Dr. Anup Bastola, former director of Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital, said, "Out of the ten thousand people infected by dengue in the community only one thousand infected people shows symptoms. Of which, 500 infected people show symptoms of viral fever and the other five hundred show symptoms of dengue fever."
Three killed in road accident
Three people were killed when a bus hit an auto-rickshaw in Chandrapur Municipality of the district this morning. The bus with registration number Bagmati Province 03-001 Kha 201 knocked the auto-rickshaw (Province 2 -02-001 Ha 2109) at Lachka, Chandrapur municipality-2.
